I’ve booked three shows this week. Two for the family (Do Portugal Circus over Thanksgiving and Black Nativity for December), then I booked The Outsiders using a ticket deal from BosTix. The Outsiders was on my shortlist when I was in New York last January so I’m excited to see it now- especially at an affordable price.

My youngest son loved Cirque du Soleil last holiday season and is begging to go back. But he’s also asking to go to Disney on Ice again (I took him two years ago).

The holiday calendar is full, and the dinner table conversations about what we want to see reminds me just how packed the holiday season theater calendar can be.
